Transaction Repository
Concourse provides an extensible Transaction Repository that is designed to store any type of EFT transaction
(e.g., credit, debit, POS, ATM, mobile, prepaid, etc.). Concourse continuously loads transactions from one or more
EFT systems even if these EFT systems are from different vendors or have different file formats (e.g., BASE24™,
CONNEX™, Authentic™, etc.). Concourse also loads raw data files provided by
networks and third-party processors (e.g., Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, American Express®, NYCE®,
PULSE®, STAR®, First Data®, TSYS®, Fiserv®, etc.). The external transaction records are then automatically
linked to the EFT system records to provide a complete view of the transaction's life cycle.
In addition to automatically linking the internal and external transaction views, Concourse detects and links duplicate internal views of the same transaction. In many environments, separate front-end systems are configured for internal service routing and gateway routing to external partners. This configuration results in a single transaction being recorded by multiple EFT systems. Concourse automatically identifies the duplicate views of the original transaction, thereby ensuring that the cardholder transaction is only processed and reported once. A configurable feature of the Concourse repository is the ability to extend information about a transaction activity detail by building relationships to other transaction activity details. This is known as life cycle linkage. For example, it allows multiple activities related to the same cardholder transaction to be linked, thus allowing the overall cardholder experience to be viewed.
